Description
The Xuron 485C puts two tools in one hand: a full by-pass shear cutter at the base of the jaws and precision long (chain) nose pliers at the tip. Cut a feeder wire, then bend and hold it with the same tool — no swapping back and forth while wiring a layout, installing a decoder or forming grab irons.
How to use
- Use the shear section for wire, cable, electronic leads and detail-part sprues up to 12 AWG (2.05 mm) soft wire.
- The tapered plier jaws reach into confined spaces; rounded outside edges won't mar wire while forming.
- Ideal for track feeders, DCC decoder installs, brass detail parts, jewellery and craft wire.
