A bridge has to be right twice: it has to look like the prototype, and it has to fit. The span must clear the river or the road below, land on abutments at the correct rail height, and hold alignment through whatever curve leads onto it — which is why most modellers measure the gap before they choose the kit.

Micro Engineering covers the steel: the 75-501 HO 50' open-deck plate girder bridge, the 75-532 HO 160' four-span deck-and-through girder combination, and the 75-150 N scale 80' open-deck girder. Rix Products handles the road crossing the tracks, from the 112 HO modern 50' highway overpass with pier back to the 102 vintage 1930s version, plus cut stone culverts such as the 652. Atlas 82 bridge pier girders and Walthers Cornerstone 3881 N scale abutments fill in underneath.
Stock runs mostly HO with a solid N selection and a few HOn3 items. Piers, abutments and connectors are sold separately from the spans on purpose — a tall steel viaduct is built up from repeated sections, so measure the drop from railhead to scenery base and buy the height you actually need rather than the height on the box art.
