Description
The Woodland Scenics P3922 Tungsten Putty is the easiest way to add weight where nothing else fits. It's soft, pliable and never hardens, so you can press it into tank cars, hopper bays, under loads or between center sills. Tungsten is about 1.7 times denser than lead, so you get more weight in less space, which makes it ideal for N scale cars.
Pinch off as much as you need, press it into a cavity or glue it in place, and adjust any time. It's lead-free and non-toxic. Light cars are easy to derail in long trains; the NMRA recommended weight (RP-20.1) for N scale is 1/2 oz plus 0.15 oz per inch of car length, and for HO 1 oz plus 1/2 oz per inch.
