Description
Flexi-Van was the Burlington Route's ticket into early intermodal: trailers with removable wheels, introduced in 1958 for specially equipped flatcars, later converted to standard 40-footers that served into the 1980s. This assembled two-pack carries Chicago, Burlington & Quincy's large name placard and side doors, with detailed wheels and bogie with landing gear. They're an authentic load for the WalthersMainline G85 flatcar (910-5479 series) and other early intermodal cars, sold separately — a slice of transition-to-intermodal history for your railroad.
