Description

Amtrak's Superliner II fleet was built by Bombardier between 1991 and 1996, extending the bi-level concept Pullman-Standard pioneered with the original Superliners. These 85-foot double-deck cars remain the backbone of Amtrak's western long-distance trains — the Empire Builder, California Zephyr, Southwest Chief, Coast Starlight and Auto Train. This Walthers Proto model represents Sleeper #32098 in Amtrak's current Phase VI livery, with roomettes and bedrooms on two levels for overnight travellers.

Walthers Proto passenger cars deliver prototype-specific detailing, accurate paint and lettering, and smooth-rolling trucks — the perfect match for your HO scale Amtrak power and Superliner consists.
