Wabash's home-built streamlined cabooses were among the sharpest on any railroad, with smooth welded-steel sides and a rounded cupola. The Chicago & Eastern Illinois rostered the same streamlined design on its Chicago–St. Louis and Evansville main lines. This Walthers Proto model represents C&EI #16.
