The SoundTraxx 885814 TSU-PNP8 is a Tsunami2 digital sound decoder with the GE diesel sound library in a plug-and-play board format with 8 function outputs. Designed to replace the factory board in compatible locomotives, it turns a silent diesel into a fully sound-equipped unit without soldering — drop in the board, connect the speaker, and you are running with authentic GE prime mover sound.
The GE library spans classic FDL-powered units through modern Evolution-series diesels, with an extensive roster of air horns and bells to match your prototype. Tsunami2's 16-bit audio, Dynamic Digital Exhaust, and Hyperdrive2 motor control deliver realistic sound under load and outstanding slow-speed performance, while the 8 function outputs handle ditch lights, beacons, and other lighting effects.
