Description
The Smalltown USA 16006 "DU Kit - Hardware Store" is an HO scale dress-up/detail kit from Smalltown USA's DU ("Dress Up") line, letting you finish a Main Street storefront as the town hardware store. The local hardware store was the beating heart of every small downtown — and on a model railroad it pairs perfectly with a nearby team track or freight house receiving its stock.
DU kits are designed as companions to Smalltown USA's two-storey brick storefront building kits, turning a generic structure into a specific business. They also work well for personalizing storefront kits from other manufacturers or giving an older built-up a new identity.
How to use
- Finish a Smalltown USA storefront kit as the Hardware Store
