The Rapido 603090 is a spare HO scale CN small tender for the H-6-d/g Ten-Wheeler, painted and unlettered, with wiring harness. All three tender styles — coal, extended coal and oil — can be made from this one model, so you can double-head, swap tender styles or letter your own.
Built by Montreal Locomotive Works for the Canadian Northern, the H-6-d (1323–1342) and H-6-g (1354–1409) Ten-Wheelers were light, general-purpose 4-6-0s that worked freight and passenger trains across the whole CNR system until the late 1950s. Over the years they received steel cabs in place of wood, oil burners on part of the fleet and plank extensions on the coal bunkers — and Rapido models those differences road number by road number. Four survive, including 1392 at the Alberta Railway Museum and 1551 (ex-1354), which ran on the Ohio Central.
