The Rapido 16813 is an HO scale Budd RDC-9 in the CN Wet Noodle scheme, car #6005 — DC/DCC/Sound with a factory-installed ESU LokSound decoder. Road-specific details: cab-less RDC-9 with correct blank ends, with headlight.
Budd's stainless-steel Rail Diesel Car carried passengers on branch lines and commuter runs across North America for more than 60 years. This Rapido run adds the RDC-9 — the cab-less, single-motor "powered trailer" Budd built for the Boston & Maine in 1956, most of which later ran for CN and VIA until 1988 — alongside RDC-1s in a long list of new schemes and VIA Rail's 2010s rebuilds.
