The Rapido 1137001 is a 6-pack of HO scale PRR H21A four-bay hoppers in the PRR - Red, Circle Keystone scheme — car numbers #183981, #185145, #186903, #190654, #191051, #194450.
The Pennsylvania Railroad built about 39,000 H21-class four-bay hoppers — through the 1950s roughly one of every two PRR hoppers was an H21. The H21A rode on 70-ton trucks; from 1948 the PRR rebuilt many as class H21E with a stronger center sill and power hand brakes, and in 1960 more were rebuilt as H21G, most with straight rectangular side posts. Penn Central reclassified later rebuilds as H5, and many cars finished their careers in maintenance-of-way service. This is the first time the H21G has been offered in HO.
