The Rapido 1108516 is an HO scale CN SW1200RSm "Sweep" in the Savage Alberta Railway scheme, road number #7102 — DC/DCC/Sound with a factory-installed ESU LokSound decoder. Class GS-413b.
In the mid-1980s CN rebuilt eight SW1200RSm switchers at Pointe St-Charles Shops in Montréal by mating the SW1200RS frame and cab with the long hood of retired GP9s — the 'Sweep' (SW + Geep), officially classed GS-413a and GS-413b. The larger GP9 radiators raised output from 1200 to 1300 hp, and the overhauled cabs got split end windows, better insulation and heating, and the Canadian-tradition hot plate and fridge. Several later worked for CANAC and Savage.
- Authentic rebuilt SW1200RSm cab with modified end windows and outward-swinging rear door
- Cannon & Company licensed fan designs; winterization hatch; nose-mounted bell
- All-weather windows, highly detailed cab interior, lit control stand
- Full LED lighting, including operating beacons / flashing lights where appropriate
- Semi-scale metal couplers; suggested minimum radius 18"
- ESU LokSound DC/DCC/Sound decoder with MoPower capacitor for uninterrupted power
