The Rapido 1101001 is an HO scale Squamish-built steel caboose #1851 in PGE's original green-and-yellow scheme of 1968 on the first Squamish-built car.

Pacific Great Eastern's Squamish Shops built the first of these all-steel cabooses in 1968 to replace the road's ageing wooden vans; ten more followed in 1973 in the new British Columbia Railway two-tone green, and a final ten in 1975, for 35 in all. They were the backbone of the BC Rail caboose fleet for three decades, still working north of Prince George — the Takla Loggers, the Fort St. John turn, the Dawson Creek Sub — right up to the CN takeover, and one survives today as a CN Engineering Service crew transporter. First time in plastic.
