The Rapido 1084051 is an HO scale single Comet I low-door trailer coach #309 in the FrontRunner scheme (2007+). Utah Transit Authority bought ex-NJT Comet I coaches for the launch of FrontRunner in 2008; the cars, in FrontRunner blue-red-and-white, were also leased to Metrolink.
Erie Lackawanna's 155 Pullman-Standard "Dieseliners" of the early 1970s — rebuilt by Bombardier for NJ TRANSIT in 1985–87 — are the original Comets, and this is the first time they have been offered as a fully detailed ready-to-run HO model. Match them with Rapido's U34CH and F40PH-2CAT locomotives.
