The Rapido 1084048 is an HO scale single Comet I low-door trailer coach #1732 in the NJ TRANSIT Late 1990s Scheme scheme (1996+). NJ TRANSIT's low-door Comet I trailer coaches in the late-1990s scheme, as they ran on the Hoboken Division until retirement in the late 2000s.
Erie Lackawanna's 155 Pullman-Standard "Dieseliners" of the early 1970s — rebuilt by Bombardier for NJ TRANSIT in 1985–87 — are the original Comets, and this is the first time they have been offered as a fully detailed ready-to-run HO model. Match them with Rapido's U34CH and F40PH-2CAT locomotives.
