The Rapido 1084027 is an HO scale three-car set of Comet II commuter cars — cab car #6129 and coaches #6144 and #6178 — in the Metro-North Modern Scheme scheme (2010+), with the double-window cab car of the ex-West-of-Hudson cars transferred from NJ TRANSIT lines after the Comet V arrived. Metro-North's West-of-Hudson Comets run between Hoboken, Port Jervis and Spring Valley in the modern silver-and-blue scheme; many cars carry Hudson Valley names.

Designed by Pullman-Standard for NJDOT and built in volume by Bombardier from the early 1980s, the Comet is the most recognizable commuter car in North America; most are still in service today. Match them with Rapido's F40PH and P32AC-DM locomotives.
