The Rapido 1084026 is an HO scale three-car set of Comet II commuter cars — cab car #6121 and coaches #6155 and #6160 — in the Metro-North Modern Scheme scheme (2010+). Metro-North's West-of-Hudson Comets run between Hoboken, Port Jervis and Spring Valley in the modern silver-and-blue scheme; many cars carry Hudson Valley names.
Named cars in this set: 6121 "Ichabod Crane", 6155 "Washington Irving", 6160 "Garrison".
Designed by Pullman-Standard for NJDOT and built in volume by Bombardier from the early 1980s, the Comet is the most recognizable commuter car in North America; most are still in service today. Match them with Rapido's F40PH and P32AC-DM locomotives.
