The Rapido 1011013A is a single HO scale 1937 AAR 40' boxcar (Round Corner) in the New Haven - Black scheme.
Nearly 94,000 1937 AAR standard 40' boxcars were built for 64 railroads starting in 1936, and many stayed in service into the 1980s. Ends, roofs, doors and hardware varied from order to order — square- and round-corner ends, Canadian NSC and CPR-style ends, Murphy raised-panel, flat-panel and Viking roofs — and Rapido's model reproduces these variations with the correct combination for each scheme.
