The Pikestuff 8011 "Diamond Tool & Engineering" is an N scale plastic building kit molded in blue — a modern metal-clad light-industrial building of the kind found in every industrial park since the 1960s. Machine shops and engineering firms like "Diamond Tool" make great layout industries: they justify boxcar and flatbed-truck traffic without demanding much real estate.
Molded in Pikestuff's easy-working soft styrene, the kit assembles quickly with plastic cement. Cut lines on the back of the walls let you reposition doors and windows to suit your scene, and the blue walls with contrasting trim capture the crisp prefab-steel look right out of the box.
