The Pikestuff 5005 "Multi-Purpose Building" is an HO scale plastic kit for a compact modern metal-clad structure that can serve almost any role on the layout — small industry, warehouse, shop, storage building, business or railroad support structure. That flexibility is exactly the point: it's the kind of anonymous prefab building found in every industrial park and small town since the 1960s.
Molded in Pikestuff's soft styrene, the kit goes together quickly with plastic cement, and cut lines molded on the back of the walls let you place doors and windows wherever your scene demands. Paint the walls and trim in contrasting colors for a convincing prefab-steel look, or combine several kits into a larger complex.
