Why layering matters: A single application of static grass always looks a little thin and uniform. The layering technique — grass, mist of spray, more grass, repeat — builds density and height variation the way real turf grows, with longer fibres standing proud of a thick base. It is the single biggest upgrade you can make to static grass work, and this large 1000 ml bottle keeps you spraying through an entire layout build.
How to use
- Apply your first static grass layer onto scenic glue in the normal way and let it set.
- Mist the grassed area with layering spray.
- Immediately apply the next layer of static grass with your applicator — fibres bond to the sprayed tips of the first layer.
- Repeat for taller, denser growth; vary fibre lengths and shades between layers for the most natural result.
