Description
The Peco WSG4004 is a refill bag of 4 mm Spring-shade static grass from the WWS (War World Scenics) range, sized to refill the 1000 ml static grass canister. Spring is the fresh, vivid green of new growth — pastures, parkland and well-watered lineside in the early season.
Why 4 mm: The 4 mm fibre is the all-round length for HO/OO scenery — tall enough to stand up convincingly and shade realistically, short enough for maintained fields and general ground cover. In N it reads as tall meadow grass; in O as short, grazed pasture.
How to use
- Load into a static grass applicator (or the WWS 1000 ml canister this refill is sized for).
- Brush scenic glue onto the landscape, hold the charged applicator above, and the fibres stand upright as they land.
- Blend with Summer and Autumn shades in patches for a natural, varied sward.
- Seal heavy-traffic areas with a mist of layering spray before adding a second coat for extra depth.
