Description
The Peco SGTWGR10 is a pack of 100 self-adhesive wild grass static tufts, 10 mm tall. Each tuft is a pre-made clump of static grass fibres standing upright on its own adhesive base — peel it off the sheet, press it in place, done.
Why wild tufts: At 10 mm these are the tall, unkempt growth of neglected ground — lineside scrub, ditches, abandoned sidings, field margins and the corners no mower reaches. In HO/OO a 10 mm tuft reads as waist-high wild grass; in N it becomes head-high rough — dramatic beside a rusty spur or derelict structure.
How to use
- Peel each tuft from the backing sheet with tweezers and press onto the scenery — the base is self-adhesive.
- Add a dot of PVA or scenic glue for permanent hold on rough surfaces.
- Cluster in irregular drifts along ditches, fences and abandoned track; avoid even spacing.
- Mix with shorter and dead tufts for natural variation in height and tone.
