This is a big basswood channel with a 1/2" cross-section, sold per piece at 24" long. It is the go-to for major structural steel, think heavy crane rails, large mill framing, or the deep sills of an industrial building. The generous 24" length and bold U-section give real presence, yet it still works like good basswood.
