Description
The NCE 5240233 AR10 makes reverse loops, wyes, and turntables completely hands-off on a DCC layout. When a train crosses into (or out of) the reversing section, the AR10 detects the phase mismatch and swaps the section's polarity in a fraction of a second — faster than any decoder or locomotive can notice. Trains glide through reversing trackage without a flicker, a stutter, or a toggle switch in sight.
With a 10 amp rating, the AR10 has headroom for any scale — from N scale up through large-scale layouts and multi-unit lash-ups with sound. Solid-state switching means there are no relays to wear out, and installation is a simple four-wire hookup.
Compatibility
- Works with any NMRA-compliant DCC system (NCE, Digitrax, and others)
- Rated up to 10 amps — suitable for all scales including O and G
- Handles reverse loops, wyes, and turntable bridges
How to Use
- Fully gap both rails at each end of the reversing section
- Connect track bus input to the AR10, and its output to the reversing section
- Run trains through — the AR10 corrects polarity automatically
