Plug your Power Cab into the SB5 and your system steps up from 2 amps to a full 5 amps of track power, while the Power Cab keeps working as your familiar throttle and command station. It's the upgrade path NCE recommends for Power Cab owners who need more power — more locomotives running at once, sound-equipped engines, and larger layouts.
The SB5 ships as a complete package with the P514 5-amp power supply included, so there's nothing else to buy — connect your Power Cab, hook up the track, and run trains. Extra cab bus jacks let you add additional throttles to your growing system.
