The natural finish takes stains, washes and weathering powders beautifully, letting you match the exact aged tone your railroad calls for — or choose ME's pre-weathered ties (36-105) to skip the staining step.
Use: Stain before laying, glue ties to the roadbed at prototype spacing (closer for mainline, wider for sidings), sand the tops level, then spike or glue ME N scale rail — Code 40 or 55 for fine-scale work, Code 70 for heavier lines.
