The Micro Engineering 14-403 is an On30 / HO #5 left-hand turnout with Code 83 nickel-silver rail — DCC-friendly insulated points and cast-metal frog. Sized for medium-tight yard ladder geometry in O-scale narrow-gauge layouts (or HO standard-gauge layouts using Code 83).
Turnout features: Micro Engineering turnouts are DCC-friendly — the points are insulated to prevent shorts under DCC control. The frog is an insulated cast-metal piece (provides clean electrical pickup but isolated from the rest of the turnout circuit). Metal guard rails, scale tie plates and spikes, and brown ties.
