Wide timber tie baulks (deeper than standard ties), closer tie spacing for added load distribution, and most importantly — guard rails and guard timbers: extra inside rails that catch a derailed wheel and keep it from leaving the bridge. Each pack includes two trackside barrel platforms with moulded barrels — the classic sand-and-water trackside detail at bridge approaches.
