The KATO 6171-1 is an N scale (1/150) single Kiha 120-0 series diesel railcar in the JR West Kisuki color — stainless steel with a light cream face and green/yellow persimmon-toned stripes, as based at Izumo for the scenic Kisuki Line between Bingo-Ochiai and Shinji. A single Kiha 120 is all it takes to recreate a quiet rural branch-line service.
