Description
The KATO 20-545 is a pair of N Unitrack R414/R381 mm 22.5° double-track viaduct easement curves — one left-hand and one right-hand piece. They ease the track from level into the banked (superelevated) roadbed of the #20-544 double-track curve, so trains roll smoothly into and out of the curve.
Why you need them: The #20-544 superelevated curve is banked, so it can't join flat straight track directly. Put one 20-545 easement at each end of a curve run — a typical 180° end is easement + three 20-544 pieces + easement.
