Description
The KATO 20-437 is an N Unitrack double-track through-truss bridge, 248 mm (9-3/4′′) long, painted Silver. Two parallel Code 80 rails at 33 mm prototype centres, for double-track mainline crossings.
Truss bridge prototype: Through-truss bridges use an open lattice of steel members (top and bottom chords linked by diagonal and vertical web members) to carry mainline loads across moderate spans. The classic Warren or Pratt truss with through girders is one of North America's most recognizable bridge silhouettes. KATO's truss bridge includes built-in rail on the bridge deck for drop-in Unitrack compatibility.
KATO N Unitrack system: Code 80 nickel-silver rail molded into a factory-attached ballasted plastic roadbed, with integrated UniJoiners. Unitrack is KATO's flagship N-scale track system.
