Description
The KATO 20-221 (EP481-15R) is the right-hand companion to the #20-220 — an N Unitrack #4 right-hand electric turnout with a built-in solenoid machine, sharp-angle geometry for tight yard ladders and industrial spurs.
About frog numbers: The number after a turnout designation (#4, #6, etc.) is the prototype frog number — the inverse of the diverging angle. Lower numbers are sharper (#4 = ~14° diverge, tight yard ladder); higher numbers are broader (#6 = ~9.5°, mainline). A #2 wye splits one track into two equal-angle diverging routes.
