Description
The KATO 20-012 is a 2-pack of N Unitrack double track straight sections, each 186 mm (7-5/16′′) long, with grey concrete ties on grey ballast roadbed — the modern-mainline double-track piece for Class-1 corridor or high-speed-rail modelling.
Double track Unitrack: A single roadbed piece carrying two parallel sets of rails at 33 mm prototype centres — the standard Japanese-prototype double-track centerline, also matching modern North American mainline practice. Drop in as one piece; faster and more rigid than two single tracks side-by-side.
KATO N Unitrack system: Code 80 nickel-silver rail molded into a factory-attached ballasted plastic roadbed, with integrated UniJoiners. Unitrack is KATO's flagship N-scale track system established in the 1960s — the dominant N-scale sectional track worldwide, used in everything from a Bullet-Train table-top to mainline club layouts.
