Description
The KATO 2-151 is a 246 mm (9-3/4′′) HO Unitrack straight section with factory-soldered feeder wires running out of the roadbed — the standard track-power entry point on any HO Unitrack layout.
How it works: Two pre-wired feeder leads exit through the roadbed and clip directly into a KATO power pack, an Atlas Selector, or any DC / DCC power bus. One feeder powers a complete continuous loop; for larger Unitrack layouts add additional feeders every 6 ft / 2 m to prevent voltage drop.
KATO HO Unitrack system: Each section combines Code 83 nickel-silver rail, molded plastic ties, and a factory-attached ballasted roadbed in one drop-in piece. Integrated UniJoiners replace the rail joiner + separate roadbed steps — layouts assemble five to ten times faster than sectional or flex track, and break down and reassemble cleanly. Brown ballast represents wood-tie mainline; concrete-tie variants (#2-141, #2-152) represent modern poured-concrete mainline.
