Description
The KATO 2-140 is a 4-pack of HO Unitrack straight track sections, each 123 mm (4-7/8′′) long — the standard half-length straight in KATO's HO Unitrack system, sized so two pieces equal one full 246 mm (#2-150) section.
KATO HO Unitrack system: Each section combines Code 83 nickel-silver rail, molded plastic ties, and a factory-attached ballasted roadbed in one drop-in piece. Integrated UniJoiners replace the rail joiner + separate roadbed steps — layouts assemble five to ten times faster than sectional or flex track, and break down and reassemble cleanly. Brown ballast represents wood-tie mainline; concrete-tie variants (#2-141, #2-152) represent modern poured-concrete mainline.
