Canadian National painted two commemorative GE ES44AC locomotives — its "America 250" pair — to mark the United States' 250th anniversary. No. 1776 "Screaming Eagle" wears a dramatic bald eagle across a camouflage and stars-and-stripes livery, while sister unit No. 2026 "Air Force One" carries a sweeping red, white and blue scheme.
KATO reproduces #1776 "Screaming Eagle" in N scale on its smooth, quiet ES44AC (GEVO) mechanism, with crisp multi-colour printing to capture the commemorative artwork, directional headlights and KATO magnetic knuckle couplers. This is the standard DC version — DCC and DCC-Sound versions are available separately.
