The KATO 10-1500 is an N scale (1/150) 5-car set of JR West's 35-4000 series coaches built for the famous "SL Yamaguchi" steam excursion train. Introduced in 2017, these brand-new coaches were styled after classic pre-war stock — complete with retro interiors and an observation-style end car — while hiding thoroughly modern equipment underneath.
