Description
The Kadee #745 is the O-scale New Generation AAR Type "E" prototype-head coupler — a medium centerset metal coupler supplied with plastic #817 draft gearboxes. It is the modern drop-in upgrade for Kadee's older O-scale couplers, with a hidden knuckle spring, a true prototype Type "E" head profile, and the delayed-action magnetic uncoupling Kadee has been known for since 1947.
