Wherever you can't (or don't want to) tap threads into the model itself, a 2-56 screw and nut gives you a strong, fully serviceable mechanical joint. How to use
- Back up 2-56 screws through untapped holes in floors, brackets, and brass or styrene construction
- Ideal for scratchbuilding and kitbashing where parts must remain removable
- Combine with Kadee #1701 washers to spread the clamping load on plastic
