Description
The Excel 55594 Sprue Cutter is a stainless steel side cutter — also called a flush cutter or nipper — built for clipping parts cleanly off plastic kit sprues with minimal stub left to clean up. Blue soft cushion-grip handles give a comfortable, non-slip hold, and the spring-loaded action reopens the jaws after every cut to reduce hand fatigue over a long build session.
How to use
- Place the flat side of the blades against the part and snip close to the sprue gate; finish with a hobby knife or sanding stick.
- Also cuts soft wire, brass detail parts, thin plastic sheet and paper.
- Not for hardened steel wire or music wire.
