The larger round aluminum handle fills the hand comfortably and holds heavier medium duty blades, making it the right choice for cutting thicker styrene, basswood, mat board, foam, and other tougher materials on the workbench or layout.
A safety cap protects the blade when the knife is stored in a toolbox or drawer. Blades swap quickly via the twist-lock chuck, and the K2 accepts the full range of standard medium duty hobby blades, including chisel and curved profiles for specialized cuts.
