Description
The LokSound 5 DCC is the North-American / Australian edition of the flagship decoder: a pure-DCC version with RailComPlus® for automatic registration and full support for DC layouts. This 8-pin NEM652 “blank decoder” ships without a speaker and without a sound project, ready to be loaded with the prototype sound of your choice (we can program it for you on request).
Once a project is loaded it delivers the full LokSound 5 experience: 16-bit / 10-channel sound through a 3 W Class-D amplifier, a load-compensated 1.5 A motor stage with AutoTune and silent 10–50 kHz PWM, and DCC features including RailCom®, Full Throttle and ABC braking. Pair it with an ESU sugar-cube speaker (e.g. 50321) and an optional PowerPack.
