Description
This LokSound 5 carries the 22-pin PluX22 interface, the modern plug-and-play connector found in newer H0 and 0 locomotives. It offers the richest output set of any standard LokSound 5 — up to ten amplified function outputs plus four additional logic/servo outputs on the PluX22 board — so even heavily-lit and special-function models are fully covered.
The supplied 11 × 15 mm sugar-cube speaker and sound chamber are driven by a 3 W Class-D amplifier (4–32 Ω) fed from a 10-channel, 16-bit sound engine with 128 Mbit memory. Motor control is load-compensated to 1.5 A with AutoTune and silent 10–50 kHz PWM, and the decoder speaks DCC/RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4 with full ABC and HLU braking.
