Description
The 8-pin NEM652 version of ESU's flagship LokSound 5 — the benchmark H0/0 sound-and-drive decoder, with the digital decoder and a full sound module combined on one 30 × 15.5 mm board. It arrives ready to play, supplied with an 11 × 15 mm “sugar cube” speaker and a matching sound-chamber kit, so it drops straight into almost any 8-pin locomotive.
Up to ten sound channels at 16-bit / 31.25 kHz feed a 3 W Class-D amplifier (4–32 Ω), backed by 128 Mbit of sound memory. The 5th-generation load-compensated motor controller delivers 1.5 A with silent 10–50 kHz PWM and one-touch AutoTune. A true multi-protocol decoder: DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4, with Märklin® / ZIMO® HLU / Lenz® ABC braking and analogue DC & AC running.
