Description
The LokSound 5 L is the large-scale member of the family, built for Gauge 0 and bigger models that demand more motor power than a standard H0 decoder. It uses a robust pin-header connection and handles a continuous 3 A motor load with the same load-compensated control and AutoTune found across the LokSound 5 range.
Sound comes from the full 16-bit LokSound 5 engine through a 3 W Class-D amplifier (4–32 Ω), with plenty of high-current function outputs for large-scale lighting. Multi-protocol: DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4. Add a large ESU speaker such as 50337 or 50338.
