This is the 21MTC (NEM660) LokSound 5 Fx — a sound-and-function decoder with no motor output, ideal for lit passenger cars, control cars and other unpowered vehicles that need realistic sound and lighting on a 21-pin socket.
The full LokSound 5 audio engine drives prototypical ambience, door and PA sounds through a 3 W Class-D amplifier, while the 21MTC board's logic and servo outputs handle interior lighting and effects. Multi-protocol DCC/RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4. Pair with an ESU speaker of your choice.
