A replacement permanent magnet (equivalent to part 220560), 24.5 mm in diameter, for re-magnetising or upgrading older open-frame motors. It suits armature 217450 and engine plates 216730, 211990 and 228500.
Fitting a fresh, strong magnet restores torque and slow-speed control to vintage motors — a worthwhile step before adding a decoder.
