The Digitrax DNWHPS is a 9-Pin to 8-Pin Medium Plug Harness with 2" wires (Decoder-Sharing) — genuine Digitrax accessory for DCC layout installation and maintenance.
Use: The classic Digitrax decoder-sharing accessory. Lets you move a single Digitrax decoder between multiple locomotives that have 8-pin NEM652 medium-plug DCC-Ready sockets — slip the harness's 8-pin plug into the loco's socket, plug the 9-pin Digitrax decoder onto the harness, and run. 2" wire length works for both N and HO chassis.
Why share decoders: Helpful during testing, programming, or to validate a decoder install in a temperamental loco before committing the decoder permanently.
