Description
The Digitrax DH187PS is a HO Series 7 DCC mobile decoder — 1.0A continuous / 1.5A peak motor control, 8 function outputs with Digitrax FX3 prototypical lighting effects.
Short-wire variant of the DH187P — 8 FX7 function outputs at 300mA each for full lighting effects: headlight, reverse, ditch lights, cab interior, number boards, Mars light, beacon, rule-17 dim.
Fitment: HO locomotives with the 8-pin NEM652 DCC-Ready socket — shorter 1.2" wires for tight installations where the decoder sits right at the socket. Plug / form: Digitrax 9-pin socket + PS-harness 8-pin NEM652 medium plug, ~1.2" short wires.
Digitrax LocoMotion® System: Torque compensation for silky-silent operation, 128 / 28 / 14 speed-step support, momentum-based accel/decel, user-selectable normal direction of travel, switching speed feature for fast yard work, 3-step speed tables (start / mid / max voltage), 28-step speed tables with 256-level resolution, and SuperSonic™ silent motor drive.
FX3 function outputs drive lighting with realistic prototype effects: constant brightness with directional or independent control, optimized LED-or-incandescent operation, ditch-light alternating flash, Mars lights, gyralights, strobes, and configurable pulse mode on all outputs.
